The Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat): Rijkswaterstaat manages and develops the national network of roads and waterways in assignment of the minister & state secretary of Transport, Public Works & Water Management. Rijkswaterstaat is co-ordinator of WP2 and will develop and test  innovative adaptation measures.
